Dr. Şeyla Ergenekon, in her first
book titled "Getting Acquainted with Wine", informs the reader about wine
culture by mentioning a broad range of subjects like the tasting techniques,
the ways of keeping wine, the characteristics of grapes and the wines of
important wine producing countries.
The first edition of her second book titled ‘Turkish wines” was printed in
2002 as the first book to bring together all domestic wines. The book gave
detailed information on Turkish wine industry and producers and Ergenekon’s
tasting notes of 168 wines of 18 producers in Turkey. “Turkish wines” was
welcomed by many wine enthusiasts and was re-printed two more times by the
addition of new wines and wineries.
